Shea Weaver fell in love with acting when she was 13 years old. After actively participating in her high school theatre program in Henderson, Texas, Shea went on to receive a BFA in theatre from Abilene Christian University.

Shea was an active actor and student throughout her time at ACU, and her studies paid off when she graduated Summa Cum Laude and valedictorian.

Newly hitched, Shea and her husband spent four months in New York City before heading to Los Angeles to hone their common love for filmmaking. They are still at it.

Shea has had leading roles in stage productions, short films, and music videos.

Alex Bram, Director of the music video “How Much it Hurts” for LA band Just Off Turner says of Shea:

“Shea brought so much to the table for our project. Her experience shows when you work with her, but not in any kind of prima donna way. As a director, it’s great to work with an actor who will give you results.

It is so rare for an actor to have the strength, courage and craft to not “over-do” it. That seems to be the hardest thing for actors, even some name actors that you see in big budget films. Shea was able to convey so much inner turmoil and passion with subtle behavior.

When you see her on screen you think, ‘that’s a real person – not an actor.’ This gave our work a touch of realism that really elevated the drama and I have heard from many people that her final look at the camera produced chills.”

Shea has studied Improv at Second City, and Commercial Acting with Carolyne Barry. She was also part of a weekly scene study class with Director Adam Marcus. She recently studied the Meisner Technique with acting coach, C.C. Courtney.

Shea and her husband now split their time between Los Angeles, California and Austin, Texas.

Shea is currently represented Jordan McKirahan of JMTA in Los Angeles, California.
